About StbEmu (Pro)

1. Keep in mind that this app is configured for a demo IPTV portal for testing purposes.

2. To work correctly it must be configured first and if you've never configured IPTV boxes it may be difficult for you to configuring it.

3. Keep in mind, that this app contains a lot of settings that has to be configured before it may be used by a user(read wiki first).

4. If you want to use the app you have to configure the app for your IPTV provider.

5. The app doesn't support m3u (or any others) playlists.

6. NOTE: This app is designed to be used by experienced users.

7. If you do something wrong you may make the app unable to work.

StbEmu (Pro) Customer Insights

1. Notice holding ok button on Android TV does not bring up the menu for preferences and enabling server swap.Volume control broken! So annoying! I'm on an android tablet, and it's almost impossible to control volume with the tablet's volume buttons.

2. It would be great If developer could update the Android app so that I could use the “sort channel” function using the green function button.

3. It would be great If developer could update the app so that I could map the directional keys of my new google Chromecast tv remote that was just announced few days ago to be use for play, pause and forward and backward.

4. I urge the devloper to fix the 2nd issue, it is a serious pain in the neck when the TV turns on a random intervals throughout the night.Program was working fine until this morning.

5. all other function buttons are working fine in the android app.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix StbEmu (Pro) Issues

1. Fix StbEmu (Pro) Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart StbEmu (Pro): Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the StbEmu (Pro) App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "StbEmu (Pro)" » Open StbEmu (Pro) » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for StbEmu (Pro) » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear StbEmu (Pro) app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from StbEmu (Pro) servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "StbEmu (Pro)" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check StbEmu (Pro) app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, StbEmu (Pro) might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall StbEmu (Pro). If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall StbEmu (Pro) then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing StbEmu (Pro) not working


2. Fix StbEmu (Pro) Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make StbEmu (Pro) be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to StbEmu (Pro) not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, StbEmu (Pro) may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I think it would be better if the app didn't check for validate ssl certificates. There are providers who doesn't have validate certificates so the app can't reach the server. I hope it's possible to add this feature in the next update

  • 3 or 4 years ago I purchased 3 Nvidia Shield Pro's from an eBay account holder named Russ Wishtart, who then installed something he referred to as Nvidia White Gold software programming, which is comprised of an StbEMU Pro and a KODI application. Each year on my anniversary date, when my programming would expire on each of my three Nvidia Shield Pro's, I would get a blue screen with a message telling me that "Your STB is blocked. Call the provider. followed by what appears to be a MAC address. I would take a picture of the screen and attach all three to an email to Russ making him aware that my programming had expired. He would then send me a Paypal billing, which I would then pay and he would reactivate all three accounts. Unfortunately, its my belief that Russ may have passed away, not having provided any alternative contact to renew our 3 Shield programming packages. Does anyone know anyone who might have the expertise to reinstate my programming ???

    My remote buttons have changed, specifically, my Down button (when also showing the menu) allowed me to see other channels and what's on, while watching my original. Now each time I select the Down button on the remote, the channel changes no matter what. Can you suggest a solution?

    About a week ago now StbEmu deleted numerous channels. I've been using the app to have my kids watch in another language. Now, all of the ex yugoslavian kids channels got deleted. Are there plans to return them?

    P.S. if it was because of low viewership it may have been because the serbian and croatian channels were switched. I.e. Nick Jr Serbia was actually Croatia and vice versa.

  • When we use back button between watching videos then it’s directly jump on main screen and when we come back to channel list then start 1st channels. My 100+ customers using your app and they are facing this problem.

    I bought StbEmu (Pro) long time ago and enjoyed the app.
    I reset or changed my device few times and never had any problem until today.
    My device had a problem and I had to do factory reset, the starting to install this app.
    But it's asking me $7.49 ($8.46 plus Tax)
    Could you please look at this issue.

  • Yesterday, Spider-Man No Way Home was on the app with great quality, as previously there was just cam footage. However, today, it was added back to the app, I was like okay, maybe it needed updated. When I was going to watch it, it is just cam footage, when yesterday it was normal, and it doesn’t even state “(CAM)” as it does for every other film, and as it did for the No Way Home cam when it came out about a month ago.

Just few days after that, I am getting a warning that CloudFare is not supported, here are terms and conditions. It is really annoying and that text shows up everywhere.   • Using multiple iptv servers on stbemu pro.. in the adult section when it asks for a password we can enter the given password.On a few of the servers it lets you in and on others another box pops up asking for a password again and the smaller box does not accept passwords it just hangs in the middle of the screen..   • Have MAG425, Due to momantarily instability of Wi-Fi I'm getting "connection error" message. The app runs for a minute or so and then goes black. It stays black for 10-12 minutes and gives "server unavailable" on Video club. Note that other apps such as youtube etc run smoothly. Have tried switching to ijk mplayer, force stop, clear cache. Also note that the free application behaves identically at the same time. thank you
