Moodle Customer Insights

1. Sector.I can't even see the front page, it takes forever to load every part of the app even though I didn't open a course, and when it loads it says error. The updates on this app are nightmare... don't update your moodle if you can still access your assignments and submissions.

2. Otherwise, it's the best way to access Moodle on mobile. While it's not perfect, it's probably the best app form of any course management software I've used in my last 10 years of academia (Canvas, Blackboard, and Moodle).

3. Instead, it just waits for you to open the overdue assignment and then yells at you for being bad at organising. It works nicely and smoothly, but sometimes, an activity fails to submit may be due to slow internet, otherwise no issue.

4. The wide availability of camera-based document scanners on smartphones makes scanning homework to a .pdf and then uploading directly to Moodle without ever having to leave my phone a welcome change.

5. My only complaint for now is that progress doesn't seem to track correctly across both the web and mobile versions, in which the case the mobile version may seem to show less progress even if it isn't true.

6. Only annoying thing is you can't hide courses like in pc browserI download the app and try to log into my account on depdnow and I get an error message: The version of this Moodle is too old.

7. The app has lost all of it's convenience over the mobile or desktop site. The application works and functions well.

8. For some reason they made everything with a due date red, and it doesn't show whether you turned it in until you open the assignment.

9. The UI has downgraded, looking like a worse version of the mobile website.

10. Even though it shows you all of your grades assignments, it has no calculations being made that produces a grade for your class.

11. You used to be able to choose whether to insert images from the camera or your file browser, now it redirects you to the file explorer every time.
