Customer Insights

1. Why does a work app need to know where I'm at even when not working? App makes me turn on my location which completely drains my battery! With the new update, I go to scan but I have to physically touch the screen so that I could scan, otherwise it doesn't scan anything.

2. And I constantly see the symbol (truck inside magnifying glass) for Driver Lens popping up in my notification bar even when I've force closed the MobileTek app at night so it's obviously running in the background unauthorizedIt was fine until the last update.

3. Too bad I have to use it for work, otherwise it would've been off my phone a long time ago..Have to pay through your contractee using this, but paying for low quality.

4. Can not do arrival scan half of the time, the orders will just vanish.

5. You want an App that is unreliable, prizes aesthetics over function, suffers from poor server integration, crashes regularly, you got it How Bad, do you ask? Bad enough to Quit a Job over? ... I Did.The worst part of my job is dealing with this app.

6. Wish you guys could have left alone, it was working just fine.Have to use it for work, otherwise I wouldn't bother.

7. My biggest issue is, the loud, obnoxious and unnecessary sounds from this app with no way to silence but put my phone on silent.Cannot start my new job because this app won't let me log in, new bosses tries too.

8. It Crashes, Freezes, Runs in the Background after closing, Mapping is Inaccurate/Sluggish and has Server Comm Issues.

9. So much for bug fixes.Forcing me to enable my location in app permissions "ALL THE TIME EVEN WHEN NOT IN USE".

10. Had to take the same photo 5 times because every time it reset the app.I despise having to use this invasive app to get paid.

11. Orders wouldn't show up, even after uninstalling, reinstalling, refreshing, logging out and in.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Issues

1. Fix Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart : Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "" » Open MobileTek Core » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MobileTek Core app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MobileTek Core" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall . If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing not working


2. Fix Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
