The map is completely blank, and I know that there is a medium-level offender living less than 1000 yards away from my house.Used to work very well but information is no longer updated I changed phones and now nothing on the app is working all information is outdated...The app us to work fine know when I open it it will close and say it's not workingIf you're doing business with the state of Texas in any capacity, Voting, driver's license anything Download this app.

2. I've checked my phones device location settings and they are correct, don't know what the problem is but I wish it would be fixed.The app will not do a search! It looks like it's working on it and working on it but the information never comes up.

3. I accepted all the permissions it was demanding, but every time I tried to search the map or the near me option, the app crashed.Anytime I use "my location" it shows the Austin area... I'm in Arlington, TX.

1. Fix Texas DPS Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Texas DPS: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Texas DPS App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Texas DPS" » Open Texas DPS » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Texas DPS » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Texas DPS app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Texas DPS servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Texas DPS" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Texas DPS app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Texas DPS might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Texas DPS. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Texas DPS then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Texas DPS not working
