Why should I report an Issue with Memrise: speak a new language?

1. The vocabulary is up to date, my partner, native Spanish speaker, has been impressed with what I've learned in a short amount of time! I will be purchasing the full version!!!I really like this app - it's easy to use and I like hearing /seeing all the different people saying the things I'm learning.

I was frustrated though because in lesson 2 my grammar lesson included words and hiragana that I haven't been taught yet, so the exercise was confusing and totally missed the point of teaching me.I've been using the paid version of Memrise for about a week now and can say that I really enjoy how it teaches language.

I have been using this app for 3 years, and I have a better understanding of phrases and sentences than the Owl app.

8. In comparison to Duolingo, which repeats the same things over and over until it's burned into your brain forever; Memrise has you do vocabulary a few times and then assumes you know it for good.

1. Fix Memrise Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Memrise: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Memrise App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Memrise" » Open Memrise: speak a new language » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Memrise » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Memrise: speak a new language app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Memrise servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Memrise: speak a new language" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Memrise app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Memrise might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Memrise. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Memrise then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Memrise not working

2. Fix Memrise Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Memrise be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Memrise not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Memrise may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
