Why should I report an Issue with Lorex Ping?

1. Need an app I can rely on when it comes to the security of my homewon't run on my android! cameras are fine but lorex does not seem to be supportive of their otherwise decent product!Doesn't work with Android 10.

2. For some reason they believe that if they send you a new camera some how that will solve the problem of you not being able to use their app to monitor the camera.....company obviously has no idea how technology, cameras, software, or apps work.App and cameras are garbage.

3. If you have a Lorex camera just throw it away the app is not compatible with Android phones and the quality before wasn't great either.

4. I switched to Nest cams a couple of years ago when lorex decided not to make their app compatible with Android updates.

10. I had a bunch and now they're going to the recycle bin.This app is outdated and if you are using it so are your cameras, it's time to get better cameras.

1. Fix Lorex Ping Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Lorex Ping: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Lorex Ping App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Lorex Ping" » Open Lorex Ping » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Lorex Ping » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Lorex Ping app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Lorex Ping servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Lorex Ping" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Lorex Ping app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Lorex Ping might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Lorex Ping. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Lorex Ping then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Lorex Ping not working

2. Fix Lorex Ping Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Lorex Ping be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Lorex Ping not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Lorex Ping may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
