1. Never again will I buy Lorex!!!! "0 STARS"I would NOT recommend this product! Especially the wireless system! Customer service passes you around like a cheap date! Device connects when it wants to not when you want it to.

2. I used to recommend lorex as it was a great camera system, I no longer recommend as the app and system are unreliable.Sometimes it just sits there and spins and will not connect even after restarting my phone.

3. Also the part about being able to block out certain areas of the video so the don't trigger a notification does not seem to work.

4. I have a flag blows in the wind and tried to block it out so I won't pick up on the screen but it sends a notification every time it moves.

5. I imagine they'll leave a comment under this review about how sorry they're for my experience and how they'll assist me, rather than just fixing the broken app.By the time you get a notification its gone.

6. You can play a video and record whats on the screen (via the movie camera button that you have to scroll in the bottom navigation to see).

7. I have LHB926.The experience I have had with this Lorex system has been nothing short of a massive headache.

8. The only reason I gave four stars is because you have to manually close the app anytime you switch networks if you want to be able to access the device remotely.App is okay.

9. On top of that it has been impossible to connect to the NVR to view the cameras.

10. Realized when I reconnected the monitor and found a ton of recordings I can't access by phone.

11. It is set on the right time selection(12hr).Needs ability to download video.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Lorex Cirrus Issues

1. Fix Lorex Cirrus Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Lorex Cirrus: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Lorex Cirrus App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Lorex Cirrus" » Open Lorex Cirrus » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Lorex Cirrus » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Lorex Cirrus app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Lorex Cirrus servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Lorex Cirrus" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Lorex Cirrus app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Lorex Cirrus might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Lorex Cirrus. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Lorex Cirrus then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Lorex Cirrus not working


2. Fix Lorex Cirrus Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Lorex Cirrus be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Lorex Cirrus not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Lorex Cirrus may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
