1. you have to stop the video and change screens to do thisThe app consistently lags behind, is slow to load, and text does not show up as you type it (It lags behind when using a bluetooth keyboard).

2. This is the point where you design a new app not try to fix this piece of junk.This app has been a work in progress and it has gradually been getting better, however the last few weeks it will not stay active when the app is in the background or when the screen is off.

3. One thing I am noticing as of the latest release is that SMS messages to and from internal numbers in the phone system are not getting delivered on the mobile app.

4. Also, not sure if its part of intended functionality, but when a call comes in, the ring cannot be silence, it requires you to decline or answer to stop ringing.

5. With that being said, I do appreciate having the number of everyone in my company in the list of contacts.It kept ringing after it connected.

6. I wish I could give it better ratings, but having to force stop it several times a day and reboot daily at inconvenient times is not my idea of efficient.This app is in need of top to bottom bug fixes.

7. This was installed on a Samsung Galaxy S20 with the latest Android OS and the wifi signal in the house was very strong with the fastest service available from xFinity.

8. I have to because it's what my work uses to get all the calls to the building to come directly to me, but it has been more frustrating than anything.

9. I used to be able to click the letter on the right to bring me to other contacts but that no longer works either.

10. It works ok on my phone but my tablet (A brand new Samsung 8+) freezes constantly.

11. We have uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted data and cache, I even restored my tablet to factory settings and the app did the same thing.The product has greatly matured and improved.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix GoTo Issues

1. Fix GoTo Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart GoTo: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the GoTo App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "GoTo" » Open GoTo » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for GoTo » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear GoTo app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from GoTo servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "GoTo" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check GoTo app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, GoTo might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall GoTo. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall GoTo then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing GoTo not working


2. Fix GoTo Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make GoTo be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to GoTo not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, GoTo may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
