Why should I report an Issue with Kik — Messaging & Chat App?

1. FIX THE DAMN APP SO IT CAN BE ISED AS INTENDED!!!! This all started when you started allowing all the bots in here and all the freaking ads!!Absolutely unusable I tried making an account and it just sends you into a verification loop, no matter how well or poorly you do the verification test it makes you keep taking it.

2. Then they started shoving adds in your face, the app crashes and deletes almost everything, so you lose messages, and even contacts,... and now this whole "Live" business for streaming, which is shoved in your face so you can't even ignore it, and I see no option to turn it off.

3. I wanted to see if was just a temporary bug so I waited a while and still same issue, so then I wanted to see if you just need to do the test a stupid amount of times and I tried it 30 times and it still just makes you keep trying.

4. This is such a huge issue someone either didnt get paid enough or needs to be fired.Useless. Can't even create an account due to never-ending verification screens.

5. This app is useless, it constantly freezes up and stops to the point that I rarely can send messages now, most of the time I don't even far enough to start composing a message.

6. Even worse is that ads have overrun the app to the point that after pretty much every action that's taken (sending a message, opening a conversation, reporting a spammer, blocking a spammer, etc) there's an ad.

7. Emailed them as to why this is happening and how I can fix it and get past the problem, of course they just referred me to their help center link that tells me to do exactly what I had already tried.This used to be a great app.

8. This once was a decent app, now it is worse than useless.Won't let messages go through! You can be messaging back and forth then suddenly you'll get the "s" by the message.

9. The last notification of an incoming message I received, according to the time stamp, was 10 hours late.

10. Searching for groups is limited since only about 25 are shownOver the years, this app just keeps getting worse.

1. Fix Kik Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Kik: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Kik App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Kik" » Open Kik — Messaging & Chat App » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Kik » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Kik — Messaging & Chat App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Kik servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Kik — Messaging & Chat App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Kik app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Kik might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Kik. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Kik then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Kik not working

2. Fix Kik Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Kik be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Kik not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Kik may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
