1. - Learn Morse Code with different modes of learning, using the letter frequency and spaced repetition to help you learn. - Customize your input, choose between tapping to simulate the real telegraph machine, or use buttons to input your code! - Recognize letter plays a sound, after which you need to guess the correct letter. - Recognize words plays a sound, after which you need to guess the correct word. - Use the code translator to translate morse code to text, or text to morse code.
1. (error rate over time, per letter...) Also: there's a sound lag when inputing morse code to translate a word, and short sounds aren't played.I was so impressed I bought it! Then it worked differently! Why did you change it from a simple touch screen to having the dots on one side and the dashes on the other! I thought the original idea fitted better for someone learning to use a single keying device, as they would if they were actually sending Morse over the airwaves.
2. This seriously slows down the flow and somewhat ruins the experience.I've always been intimidated to study the morse code, but this app makes learning very fun.
3. Like N and A are the same just flipped.* **In guess the letter and code there should be a toggle audio option in the corner Morse code is in itself phonetic.** the premium edition of $3 is worth it.
4. This feature allows you to write or keyboard down letters as they come in with morse and choose your speed in the settings.
5. I thought the settings symbol would have given me the option, but now I am happy!I used to really like this app, but for a while now it has been closing the keyboard after every word in 'recognise word' mode, meaning I have to press on the input area to get it back.
6. You can send with bad rytm, as long as the order of long and short tones is correctWhy does it sometimes make this extremely annoying crackling sound, as if I was listening to a radio in the middle of nowhere? An option to turn it off would be more than welcome.
7. An option for a full keyboard would be much better.Very good app for getting to grips with the basics of morse code.
8. Because the letter spacing (Farnsworth timing) can only be extended to max 12 dots (20 dots might be much better), recognizing words can be awfully hard for beginners.
9. It's a little hard to memorize the "uncommon" letters because they take so long to reappear.Love it! learning really fast.
10. I was told by HAM ops that the best way to continue learning (after you know the alphabet completely and have practiced) to start learning words at 20-25wpm.
11. It showed the letter E more than 50 times already, and I haven't seen yet the other letters like Z or X.
