LightspeedDMS Customer Insights

1. Need the ability to update pricing/sales pricing, categories, bin location etc.Had a review that I wrote 2 years ago, and the app still has issues, it will load the tiles, but when you click on the tech tab it just loads and never stops loading, this has been a issue for 8+ months, and now when I try and uninstall the app and redownload it to reset everything, it's not resetting the auth codes, manually reset the auth codes and it says login info is incorrect, or username and password are wrong.

2. Kinda sucks because the phone takes better pictures.Does great "when it works" Keeps logging me out during a job or saying Unable to reach lightspeed server.

3. This app makes doing any jobs way more difficult, have to use computer nowLast update is causing problems with it continuesly loading, not clocking me in or out of jobs, note writing or uploading pictures.

4. however photos were taken weeks ago and still not uploaded, i can see mini image of phots but will not open.---Ever since the new August update, I haven't been able to log in.

5. Otherwise, it is a great tool for managing the workload, especially remotely.I use to be able to answer my customers through the text feature and also text them first but now I get a failure notification everytime.

6. Works great on IOS, and in an android emulator on a laptop that has very high performance specs, but on a basic android tablet it is worthless.

7. Have to go in to Android settings, clear cache and force close to be able to use for a short period of time until it starts staying stuck on loading and I have to repeat the process all over again.

8. Possible to make it able to upload photos instead of using direct camera feature.

9. Still works on the tablet but will not allow me to login on the phone anymore.

10. It is a communication tool especially during non work hours for my customers and I.The camera function is quite bad, poor focusing, poor functionality.

11. Update*(7-30-19) -- now cannot see any photos uploaded from another device, always says please try again later still uploading to server.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix LightspeedDMS Issues

1. Fix LightspeedDMS Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart LightspeedDMS: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the LightspeedDMS App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LightspeedDMS" » Open LightspeedDMS » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LightspeedDMS » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear LightspeedDMS app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LightspeedDMS servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LightspeedDMS" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check LightspeedDMS app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LightspeedDMS might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall LightspeedDMS. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LightspeedDMS then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LightspeedDMS not working


2. Fix LightspeedDMS Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LightspeedDMS be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LightspeedDMS not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LightspeedDMS may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
