myLidl Customer Insights

1. it would be nice if they gave the option of scanning your receipt, though, because my local store's scanners aren't always working and you don't figure it out until you look at your receipt (which is too late) or specifically ask if the scan of your phone worked.Again, I must say I love Lidl! Great store, great prices, great selections.

2. Said it would be applied to account but never showedGoes offline often, trouble loading, hard to find specific items (for example, lower sodium bacon) that are in stock; and oftentimes the grocery list is uncategorized.

3. Nonetheless, I wish there were more coupons.I like the grocery list feature because it helps me keep track of what to purchase.

4. Also, too many steps to access your grocery list.I love the app and the shopping at the store.

5. I "did" love the coupons and ability to create a shopping list but those both have suddenly stopped working and I keep waiting for a "fix" or update that hasn't happened.

6. I also hope that at some point the grocery list could show the prices of the items and the total cost the way the Walmart app does.

7. It would be helpful to show a thumbnail of the list item inside your grocery list without having to click on it.

8. May I ask for another modification to the app? When I view the ad through the app, it would be nice if I could add the item directly to my app grocery list if I take on the item.

9. On the other hand, I do highly suggest a purchase history feature to scan my receipts.Great food and prices.

10. Have a few gripes: - no history of past orders i've made in store, preferably with details of the discounts or coupons I've used with items.

11. - when listing coupons and rewards, it only shows images but doesn't give a title or descriptions with details about the exact product - forgot to apply account to purchase once.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix myLidl Issues

1. Fix myLidl Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart myLidl: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the myLidl App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "myLidl" » Open myLidl » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for myLidl » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear myLidl app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from myLidl servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "myLidl" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check myLidl app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, myLidl might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall myLidl. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall myLidl then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing myLidl not working


2. Fix myLidl Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make myLidl be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to myLidl not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, myLidl may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Every time I try to log in on my iPhone, I get the message that something has gone wrong and I have to go back. I would therefore like to delete all information from this account, which is obviously useless for me.
