I literally hold my phone right next to it and I know my Bluetooth works at ranges over 50 feet, but that's how difficult and frustrating connecting/pairing this device can be.It's great for most things, but I was disappointed that it doesn't support live data for the turbocharger system on my 2015 Subaru Forester XT.
2. The app and scanner will read these live data for other makes/models, so I'm not sure why it doesn't work with mine.
