About AlfaOBD
1. NOTE: If AlfaOBD can not connect to a car ECU with the message "Interface reports NO DATA" or "Interface reports CAN ERROR" it most probably means your interface is not compatible or defective. - native support of Electronic control units used in Fiat group cars.
2. AlfaOBD software for diagnostics of the vehicles produced by Stellantis (former FCA): Alfa-Romeo, Fiat, Lancia, Dodge, RAM, Chrysler, Jeep.
3. Owners of Fiat 500X/JEEP Renegade/Compass (MP), please make sure that the bypass supports the second high-speed CAN bus, the one that is connected to the pins 12&13 of the car OBD plug.

1. I'm anxiously awaiting the next update so I will be better able to use this app for my 2022 jeep compass Trailhawk.Works great, enjoy having control over specific features for my truck.
2. Great app and great support, 5 stars all the way.Using this with a 2014 Ram 1500 Seriously cool but needs a way to back up your original settings easily.
3. I have activated the alarm, turned off seatbelt chime, activated remote start, fix the fog lights turning of when highbeams on, and changed to LED headlights all thanks to this app.
4. I couldn't afford recommended Bluetooth interface, bought a cheap one, still worked flawlessly.This app is very useful for Jeep, dodge, and Chrysler vehicles.
5. I've made several changes to my Ram 2500, programmed extra keys, speedo adjustment after putting on larger tires/wheels, tpms parameters, lights, locks.
6. I have already used the app to monitor tire pressures, enable remote start and automatic headlights, move the DRLs to the turn signals, Etc.
7. Guides for the popular options, ie led lights, adding things etcThis app is worth every penny of what it costs.
8. Worth every penny, seeing as the dealer was going to charge $348 to do the same thing this $50 program did.
9. Emailed support and had the issue resolved right away and was able to program it.
10. Would make me feel FAR safer using the app to mess with settings that seem straight forward but can end up having negative results.
11. Don't forget the security bypass cable if your vehicle requires it!Is there an update for some older coverage such as 2003 .? I have only seen 2007 and up.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix AlfaOBD Issues
1. Fix AlfaOBD Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart AlfaOBD: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the AlfaOBD App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "AlfaOBD" » Open AlfaOBD » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for AlfaOBD » click "UPDATE".
- Clear AlfaOBD app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from AlfaOBD servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "AlfaOBD" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check AlfaOBD app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, AlfaOBD might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall AlfaOBD. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall AlfaOBD then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing AlfaOBD not working
2. Fix AlfaOBD Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make AlfaOBD be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to AlfaOBD not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, AlfaOBD may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

I purchased AlfaOBD license and interface OBDLinkSX - the first 2 times I used it - it work fine.
But now all I get is No Data connect failed - I have tried everything recommended repeatedly to no avail.
When I hook up my other scanners the connection is fine.
Any Suggestions Please?

2010 ram 3500. I have used alfaobd for several things. I need to program a couple new key fobs. Under the demo mode, I see the option to get the four digit pin. When I go to the radio hub, that is not an option - which I obviously can’t program a key without the pin….. any suggestions?

I have a 2007.5 Ram 3500, 6.7 diesel. I purchased the AlfaOBD app and the AlphaOBD EX connection cable. While doing initial setup, I'm unable to connect to the truck (digitally) and therefore can't complete the setup.
I also do not find the EX in any of the setup selections. Have I bought the correct components to use AlphODB with my truck?

Greetings, I just downloaded and paid for your app. I have it connected to my 2017 1500 Ram pickup via a OBDLink MX+ OBD2 on Bluetooth from my (windows PC.) I am not seeing any function actions listed to program a new key fob. Am I missing something? I've seen people programming a fob with an android device but I can find nothing for doing it from a PC. Your site states that the app works with android or windows devices. Please advise...

I'm using the AlphaOBD Android App with the OBDLink MX+ on my 2015 Ram 1500.
I'm attempting to reset my engine idle & run time, one at a time, but the process fails after numerous attempts.
Occasionally I see the EVIC start the process but it still fails.
Any ideas?
