LED LAMP Customer Insights

1. The interface is not very good because simple tasks become hard because navigating the app to get the option you need (like adding lights to a group) is insanely difficult.

2. In order to use my lights I have to have the power strip and plugs strung out and have to unplug and plug them back in every day.Physical lights are as expected, although it looks like the lights should have more function than they do.

3. When the app does work, there are a lot of different light options but most don't work with the lights.

4. Just get lights with a remote and not an appI purchased these lights because of their versatility and variety of lighting colors and patterns.

5. Now I have a useless light strip that I can't even turn on.So..at first I couldn't connect because I was trying to connect through bluetooth on the settings but finally you cant do that..you have to connect from the settings in the top left corner.

6. Just get the more expensive lights so you don't regret it.I loved this app when I first got it, but I'm on my third year and this year it's not recognizing any devices.

7. I want to play my songs or Spotify to make the lights move to the beat.

8. The color wheels aren't accurate (but I guess some lights with remotes are that way too; yellow is aparently green).

9. We'll now it's stuck flashing random colors and I get vertigo with flashing lights.

10. The lights were supposed to do several settings but in reality, they just do a handful of boring things that most lights do.

11. The app is buggy: I'll have to close it and open it again, as well as disconnect from the lights and reconnect in order to properly use everything.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix LED LAMP Issues

1. Fix LED LAMP Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart LED LAMP: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the LED LAMP App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "LED LAMP" » Open LED LAMP » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for LED LAMP » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear LED LAMP app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from LED LAMP servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "LED LAMP" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check LED LAMP app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, LED LAMP might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall LED LAMP. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall LED LAMP then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing LED LAMP not working


2. Fix LED LAMP Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make LED LAMP be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to LED LAMP not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, LED LAMP may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
