1. I have another camera Wyze and I can view with no problem fast forward, stop, rewind and play never stops of freeze.I own 3 flawless routers and i know how to setup most all types of networking but there is in fact something wrong with either the DVR or this APP... I was able to connect outside the local network for just a couple days and now i get no connection.
2. Beware though, as my phone flagged the app as malware.When in play back trying to view video it stops working.
3. Since I've removed those permissions my phone does not come on by itself anymore watch out people.after update on 15e, app crashed repeatedly, cant use anymore.
4. new update after 18e did not make the app function much better... you can run app on first startup, but next time it will freeze, and you wil need to delete all data, and restart app, and add cameras again.
5. A big thumbs down on that one.Why does this app need to have permission on my phone for microphone and Camera? My phone has nothing to do with my security DVR.
6. App works to view cameras and play back recorded footage from XVim DVR both on and off local network.
7. I agree with other reviewers that it's odd that the app insists on having access to phone and other permissions.
8. These buggers are turning on your camera and your microphone and recording your audio and your video from your phone.
9. I also noticed higher battery usage and my phone would automatically come on at certain times but show no activity.
10. After a short time of comfortable performance, the application started crashing with every time I start it up on my Samsung Note8.
11. Also asking for contacts and other permissions that's not necessary.Any alternative I strongly suggest it.There playback feature is horrible.
I have been using XVR for a few years now. I have the app on an Android based device. I now get the message no forwarding server. It is still fine on my partners iPhone.
I have the app and i am connected by GID. I saw that since 28/02/2024 i m not able to see anything on my cameras on app, XVR Pro. I even paid for a cloud service plan. The error i m seeing on the app is "Connection failed.(-5000)", how can we manage to make it work again, how can i access the cloud?
