Why should I report an Issue with HiNative - Language Learning?

1. AppContacter will directly Email your issue/feedback to an apps's customer service once you report an issue and with lots of issues reported, companies will definitely listen to you.
2. Pulling issues faced by users like you is a good way to draw attention of Lang-8, inc to your problem using the strength of crowds.
3. Importantly, customers can learn from other customers in case the issue is a common problem that has been solved before.

1. Mainly: Could we have a filter button on our notification wall where if we were to press it, we can choose to only view answers from those we follow (temporarily, we'd still get other notifs)? It's kind of like the YouTube filter button where you can choose to only have recommendations based on your subscriptions, but you still get notifs/recommendations from other channels in the background.I think you should add a feauture to upload an audio.

2. Though some features are behind a "paywall" it does offer a refreshing amount of free content for a "freemium" app.One of the most useful resourses for learning any language.

3. The free version isn't bad but with the sponsored ads and no access to some of the best features, I quickly opted for the pro version ... I think it's totally worth it!They switched around which features are premium --and now asking if a sentence sounds natural is premium.

4. 10/10 definitely recommend this app.HiNative is totally addictive! I love getting corrections & encouragement from native speakers and being able to help others with English.

5. This is a completely different tool that gets you very specific answers to your language questions from native speakers.

6. You can ask native speakers of your target language (no matter what that language is) any question you could ever possibly think to articulate, including questions about pronunciation.

7. You need to cycle to a different tab then back to get the correct page.HiNative, I beg you PLEASE make "the does this sound natural option" free.

8. I'll be cultivating other resources, which is a bummer; this app has been a favorite for years.Don't confuse this app with a language learning app.

1. Fix HiNative Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart HiNative: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the HiNative App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "HiNative" » Open HiNative - Language Learning » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for HiNative » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear HiNative - Language Learning app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from HiNative servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "HiNative - Language Learning" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check HiNative app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, HiNative might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall HiNative. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall HiNative then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing HiNative not working

2. Fix HiNative Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make HiNative be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to HiNative not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, HiNative may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
