1. For German: - The videos are hard to follow, but transcription and slow mode are available - The recordings of the words are different in quality and volume between each other, a bit annoying but ok - When I select Italian as mother language, the app is almost fully in English I would suggest to add the plural and the paradigm for the verbsI think the learning content is fantastic! However, I've noticed that there's a slow loading issue in the profile section that causes the app to crash, especially when viewing friends' activities and the notification tab.
2. This stuff is unbecoming of a serious language learning app.Is not clear upfront on what languages they offer - only 4 offered (English, German, French, Spanish) you have to download the app to see the languages offered.
3. Deleting app now.I'm starting with this app and it's good, I'm begginer person in English, so, the different levels and topic are good for me.I bought the app to revise my French, but unfortunately it seems to stop at A2 level.
4. So if you are looking for any languages other than English, German, Spanish and French- dont waste your time in downloading.
5. I will come back in the future to check developments ....I noticed that German does continue to a more advanced level. If you really want to get into a language, then Xeropan is way better than Duolingo.
6. I understand this may be to avoid giving hints about how the sentence starts, but that makes no sense since the option for the last word contains a full stop always).
7. For example, random abbreviations (stg for 'something', and others) and over sights (the first letter of the first word in a 'arrange the sentence' tasks is never capital.
8. I'm currently using a Galaxy Note 9, and I hope that you can forward my technical issues to the development team for resolution.Would like to recommend this to English learners, BUT I am hesitant because of its clunky grammar.
9. It would make learning that much smoother.Very good for German! It is less addictive than Duolinguo, but way more useful.
10. Getting marked wrong for a word or a sentence structure I have not been introduced to yet is a bit lame.
11. The difficulty level of German exercises, when I progress, is quite childish.
