1. Mostly oriental, and a great variety of vegetarian dishes if you are into that! I am Italian and am learning to cook some yummy non-italian food.Nearly every recipe is behind a paywall.. funny "budget friendly" recipes but you need to pay a subscription to see themInfinite recipes - couldn't ask for a better app.
2. What's more is that the paid version can be a nice addition but is absolutely no need or obligation. The new way they advertise their premium service is so annoying! I don't want to click an ad away every 30s while cooking...I love this app! Recipes are easy and clearly explained.
3. You can adjust the recipes to different serving sizes, the prep walk-throughs have great pictures, and the food typically is on the healthier side.
4. Furthermore, it would be helpful if lists could be used as filter criteria, for instance in my list 'sweets' I want to filter on 'cooked' recipes.
5. You get only a few recipes a day, but I feel like that keeps me coming back because I get bogged down with so many recipes to look at on other apps to the point where I eventually stop using them.
6. Also the ability to filter recipes based off number of ingredients.
7. This may sound like an disadvantage but in fact this is really nice because you are not overwhelmed with an offering of endless recipes instead you can have a look at the app once a day and save the recipes you like.
8. It is different from other cooking apps by only showing you 3 new recipes each day.
9. Also the assignment / removal of a recipe to a list is too cumbersome, this could easily be solved with a multiple selection / unselection.I think the concept and the design of the app are great.
10. Especially the 3 random recipes per day are very inspiring and limiting, in a good way.
11. Lastly, if it could build plans that minimize waste by using like ingredients, that would be great.I love this app.
