1. I'm sure it's really doing other things but that's specifically what I was trying to use it for.Paid £0.99 and gave it access to all my stuff, but the mark as read button didn't work.Doesn't work for me, it's denied access to notifications every time I reboot, even though the slider is on, I have to deny and then allow it every time I want to give it access, it applies to many things requiring access to notifications, it's quite a specific problem with my device.
2. App does not include an email or feature to report a problem, so I'm just going to leave one star here.Didn't work for Snapchat.
3. Unlike Tasker's built in notifications, AutoNotification allows for creating really fancy notifications with fonts, colors, backgrounds, images, buttons, etc.
4. (Hint: search reddit.) For other people, it's a plugin that allows intercepting other app notifications and acting on them in different ways.
5. Oreo's notification channels brought some great things, but also some terrible ones, and even in standalone mode, this app is well worth having.
6. This seems to have cropped up out of nowhere.I don't do a lot of things with Tasker, but this app has been a great addition.
7. When I click the "read" button, the notification goes away and an AutoNotification task runs, but if I go into my Gmail app, the email is still unread.
8. This Tasker Plugin is many things to different people.
9. I haven't used that aspect of the plugin, so really can't offer a review of them.Just recently (past week or two) the app is failing to work.
10. I'm trying to use it to open SMS conversations when a message is received, but this seems to be more difficult than it sounds.I had used this for years for the Gmail Buttons feature.
11. Fun learning programming/Android tweaking in my old age.😉 Helps keeps me sharp.Does not work for free without paying ads.
