IPC360 Customer Insights

1. If you purchased just to keep a light watchful eye on things, this does mostly what it should, but this is definitely not what is needed for better security.My previous issues with not being able to view recorded video, as well as video not recording to the SD card, have all corrected itself as soon as I signed up for the 30 day free trial of Cloud storage.

2. I have tried factory resetting the camera, formatting the microSD card, reinstall this app, factory reset phone then reinstall app and nothing will allow me to replay a recorded video on the SD card through the app.

3. When the app doesn't immediately crash upon "attempting" to open, it requires opening and closing the camera view several times before it MAYBE shows an image from the camera.

4. When it does display the camera view, it's choppy and often crashes or locks into a static image when there is a significant amount of motion.

5. Even if I'm trying to leave the screen up on my phone to constantly monitor something, I get shunted back to the camera select screen at random intervals.

6. But, it stalls and still won't play! It keeps bringing me back to today's date! Am I doing something wrong??! Please help!The ability to playback video recordings hasn't been working for months, despite several updates.

7. But all of a sudden when I try to view landscape, I get the entire screen from the portrait mode, including the menu buttons on the bottom.

8. The AVSTART camera is good, but daytime colors are pretty washed out and can't read tags for cars sitting in the street.The camera works fine, better quality than expected and does what I need it to do.

9. When you turn the phone, a tiny portrait view appears in the middle of the screen surrounded by all black.

10. No more! Fix it!The time is an hour off, there is a lag while watching movement, the lighting goes dark for seemingly no reason, I didn't see an english version of the privacy policy and while watching the view it consistently goes out every minute or so and I would like it to stay on.

11. Otherwise I love the camera! It's perfect for monitoring my mother who has Alzheimer's ... keeps me from constantly having to actually go to her room to check on her.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix IPC360 Issues

1. Fix IPC360 Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart IPC360: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the IPC360 App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "IPC360" » Open IPC360 » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for IPC360 » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear IPC360 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from IPC360 servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "IPC360" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check IPC360 app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, IPC360 might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall IPC360. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall IPC360 then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing IPC360 not working


2. Fix IPC360 Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make IPC360 be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to IPC360 not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, IPC360 may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • I'm unable to repurchase cloud storage. Every time I get the message "Sorry, too fast. Try again". I have been trying for two days now. My camera device : 406A8E53E0F5. My wifi is working just fine. Last year I had no problem at all. Very annoying as my camera is inactive now.

  • hi there. The display says my IPC360 has already paired with another device when i was trying to connect the IPC360 to the app. The camera worked fine on all the procedured but discovered an issue when connecting with the app.

  • It keeps logging itself out, which makes it useless and a waste of money. I depend on this camera to keep an eye on my child when they are in bed. Which is very hard to do as it logs out ever 2 minutes....

    I’m writing in connection to the IPC360 camera which is supported by yourselves at the above address. This camera was set up for personal security by my ex husband which is now being used for surveillance on the property. The property is lived in by myself and my children and I would like the cloud account associated with it, transferred to my name. This is now a domestic abuse case so please can you inform me of the process, of putting account in my name

    Currently I only have access to live feeds, not alerts, as the account is held by the perpetrator, Mark Welbourne.

    With immediate effect, can you stop all feeds and alerts going to Mr Welbourne and his access to the cloud backups.
