1. After that, when the SV machine is working, sometimes there is a notification on my phone that it is running in the background but there is no data about the SV cooking process displayed and this seems like it should have been an obvious thing to display temperature and remaining time.Having the same problem the Temp Trend no longer works and just shows a range from -4 to 4 with no info.

2. wanted the wifi ability but that's dead in the water.It basically works and maybe is less fiddly than using the control panel on my sous vide machine but generally speaking it is pretty disappointing.

3. It shows a drawing of a completely different sous vide machine and says that you should press the wifi button until the indicator light is blinking fast.

4. I get a 2 degree rise in temperature before the cooling catches up and starts to cool down again because I can't choose 1/2 degrees change in temperatures, so when the device finally turns on the temperature has risen 1 degree.

5. Other than that the device itself seems to be working.It's a very good device But I wish the app had the ability to control the temperature rise and fall better.

6. I feel like if company is legit, it should b 1 app.The wifi connection is great and works as advertised, but this is Noooo Joule app.. I find myself searching for recipes on the Joule app, and then replicating on this app.

7. When adding the wifi sous-vide machine it tells you to "reset" the device but there is no reset button.

8. No option for the app to only heat below a temperature and cool above a different one; it's always running either cooling or heating, never an off point.I had a little difficulty pairing the temperature monitor to this app, but once I did I was very impressed with the functions.

9. Be sure to add this app to power saving exceptions on your phone so that you don't miss temperature alerts via push notification when android tries doze mode.

10. Being able to control the device and all it's settings from anywhere is a wonderingful convenience and gives me great peace of mind while I am not home.

11. And then it "just works" but from the reviews for inkbird sous vide machines, it seems like a lot of people never get that far.

1. Fix InkbirdSmart Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart InkbirdSmart: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the InkbirdSmart App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "InkbirdSmart" » Open InkbirdSmart » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for InkbirdSmart » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear InkbirdSmart app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from InkbirdSmart servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "InkbirdSmart" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check InkbirdSmart app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, InkbirdSmart might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall InkbirdSmart. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall InkbirdSmart then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing InkbirdSmart not working

2. Fix InkbirdSmart Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make InkbirdSmart be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to InkbirdSmart not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, InkbirdSmart may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
