iGrand Piano Customer Insights

1. stops working suddenly with few midi controllers like AKAI MPK mini 2.CANNOT DOWNLOAD IN APP SOUND...I BOUGHT a pack.. but while I'm going to download the sounds it shows instrument download failed... please fix this problem.. already spent lots of money.

2. -When I try to download the (free) additional pianos (classical piano, jazz piano), it fails and gives me the message: Instrument downloaded failed.

3. seems like a problem with keyboard inputCan you guys fix the download issue? I paid all that money for these apps and I can't even use them right.

4. I have an iRig midi keyboard and spent a lot of money on plugins for for apps on a misplaced tablet that may have been accidentally thrown out.

5. I will give more stars if my problems and issues are resolved.Some things does not work: -The sustain pedal does not work (when I connect a digital piano with my phone).

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix iGrand Piano Issues

1. Fix iGrand Piano Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart iGrand Piano: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the iGrand Piano App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "iGrand Piano" » Open iGrand Piano » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for iGrand Piano » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear iGrand Piano app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from iGrand Piano servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "iGrand Piano" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check iGrand Piano app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, iGrand Piano might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall iGrand Piano. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall iGrand Piano then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing iGrand Piano not working


2. Fix iGrand Piano Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make iGrand Piano be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to iGrand Piano not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, iGrand Piano may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
