1. The okay or retry button seems to appear off screen in landscape mode, even though the view is forced back to portrait.you have to close the app and start over, I've tried to deposit a check for the last 30 minutes.

7. Idk why fingerprint option was removed either? Basically just made this even more inconvenient since I have to enter my password 2 or 3 times between crashes.

10. Everytime I have used my card for a transaction it has been no more than a few minutes before I can view it using this app.

11. Now it crashes and kicks me out after second login, and it is telling me to contact the developer, or see if there is an update.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix ECU Issues

1. Fix ECU Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart ECU: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the ECU App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ECU" » Open ECU Mobile » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ECU » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear ECU Mobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ECU servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ECU Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check ECU app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ECU might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall ECU. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ECU then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ECU not working


2. Fix ECU Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ECU be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ECU not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ECU may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
