Why should I report an Issue with ClickOnDetroit - WDIV Local 4?

1. This all new, completely redesigned WDIV ClickOnDetroit app makes it easier than ever to get the latest news, weather, sports, entertainment and more from Detroit's news leader, ClickOnDetroit and WDIV Local 4!

1. For example: when I select an alert for a specific news story from my notifications list, it 1) it takes forever to load a screen that (2) contains a list of news stories that (3) may ar may not actually include the story I selected the notification for in the first place.

2. One issue, will get alerted to watch in app a breaking alert, but when you do - you still have to watch an ad, even though it is suppose to be "urgent." + ads at bottom appear as news, but are links to ad sites.I can no longer enlarge a pic, table, graph or article.

3. Video enlargement doesn't always work either!!! Takes forever to load news articles, videos, amongst other issues!!Anyone else having these issues?????Literally the worst app I have from a reliability standpoint.

4. Your app no longer accepts being rotated (phone turned sideways, and yes it is enabled on my phone settings)!! I am considering going to a different local news app.

5. I like to watch the news WHEN I want to and do not need nor do I want to keep seeing "4" on my homepage with each notification.

6. Now it reminds me of an ad I find on Facebook that takes me through 50 pages of one story chopped up in 3 sentence segments just to get you to the end and change to another story without really making the purpose of the first one clear.

7. Updated w/the latest news, no errors, push alerts (if choose) are timely and accurate especially breaking news.

8. In fact, when it comes to this station and this app, I believe no one handles breaking news better.

9. I've given it more than enough time - I'm done with it.This app: Click On Detroit WDIV had been working great, until a couple of weeks ago.

10. Thinking about changing to new Detroit news source if they can't fix this.

11. Now stories either don't open or it takes 3 to 4 minutes for them to open.

1. Fix ClickOnDetroit Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart ClickOnDetroit: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the ClickOnDetroit App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "ClickOnDetroit" » Open ClickOnDetroit - WDIV Local 4 » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for ClickOnDetroit » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear ClickOnDetroit - WDIV Local 4 app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from ClickOnDetroit servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "ClickOnDetroit - WDIV Local 4" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check ClickOnDetroit app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, ClickOnDetroit might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall ClickOnDetroit. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall ClickOnDetroit then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing ClickOnDetroit not working

2. Fix ClickOnDetroit Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make ClickOnDetroit be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to ClickOnDetroit not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, ClickOnDetroit may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
