Why should I report an Issue with Carly for VAG?

1. Was happy with my other Carly products but not this one, its seems rushed & not finished 😡It found faults using an OBDlink LX adapter on the free version with the one time free scan but couldnt clear them without paying for app -so not all bad!- But it is really too expensive for what it does in pro.. and theres no saying for definite it would be able to erase the fault codes with my 3rd party adapter.. I'm going to try obdeleven and then if that doesnt do the trick bite the bullet and get a ross tech cable - the tried and tested way to go for vagss factory level access to canThe application is rubbish, I have to keep connect to the car car over and over again when I finish clearing any faults.

2. update 09.07.2019, bought the full version in june however today as i tried to do a full diagnostic and afterwards see the faults the app said that i should upgrare to full version...what for did I pay the 44 euros one month ago, just for a one time thing? starting to feel robbed!!!Paid for the full version for my car.

Waste of money, very disappointing, useless thing!Not as good as Carly for BMW , I have 2 error lights on the dash and it could not diagnose them, could not even diagnose the faulty dash screen, it said it would take half an hour to diagnose this vehicle, a TT, an hour later nothing, tested each element individually in less than 15min, only 2 engine faults.

4. Basically bought the adaptor & full app version for absolutely nothing, I need to reset service data now not in weeks or months time.

5. Thanks.Just purchased and used the full version to reset the service interval on my 2015 Audi A3.

6. Hope the updates make it 100% better.cannot update to full version, always get the failure message "could not connect to google play store.

7. Do not buy!Checked if the service reset would work with a 2015 Audi TT (8S), Carly's website stated it would but it doesnt.

8. I can't even log-in! I've contacted the support couple of times, the only thing they did is to tell me that i can't have my money back and when I asked to send me some help for how to use this bugged App I didn't even become an answer.

9. I purchased mycarly vag after watching a review on YouTube as I have recently bought an Audi TT MK2 and liked the tweeks for setting the welcome lights etc.

10. I used it in conjunction with the Carly bluetooth adaptor which I believe is mandatory.For Audi os pretty useless.

1. Fix Carly Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Carly: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Carly App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Carly" » Open Carly for VAG » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Carly » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Carly for VAG app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Carly servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Carly for VAG" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Carly app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Carly might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Carly. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Carly then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Carly not working

2. Fix Carly Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Carly be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Carly not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Carly may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
