1. When a Gen2 adapter failed during a system update recently, Carly through their support people (Sara) were excellent sending me a replacement adapter in double quick time to Australia.

2. Thank you Carly.It is tricking the users with the free version by showing what informations will be available in the payed version but when you buy it you will see that all the functionalties are also available on other free apps.

3. Emailed also for refund... NO RESPONSE.Don't waste your time, listen to the 1 star reviews they are all right! Its an absolute rip off aswell, €60+ shipping for the adapter and €35 a year to use the full app! And it will only work with their own adapter.

4. Wish I hadn't wasted the time downloading it this time! Sort it out Carly look how bad your reviews are! More 1 star reviews than anything else, stop being so greedy!Also read above here under "What's new".

5. I've not had time yet to try v2.Very in-depth diagnostic for my E class I did give it 5 stars but now removing that, after a couple of years of using it successfully, after an update they removed the option of using a third party obd2 device.

6. Try looking after your existing customers Carley!UPDATE: I emailed them, now their telling me I didn't purchase it, yet i have PROOF and even their system checker tells me my license is good until 2050.

7. These guys are a bunch of SCAMMERS!! It's unbelievable how you pay for a service and you get charged double and now I can't even use what I paid for! It's asking me to buy it again 🤦 So much for brand loyalty and misrepresentation of a product.

1. Fix Carly Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Carly: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Carly App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Carly" » Open Carly for Mercedes » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Carly » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Carly for Mercedes app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Carly servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Carly for Mercedes" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Carly app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Carly might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Carly. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Carly then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Carly not working

2. Fix Carly Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Carly be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Carly not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Carly may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
