Why should I report an Issue with Quik – Free Video Editor for photos, clips, music?

1. Also, I had to download the app a second time to a new phone and for some reason, the new version will not allow me to add still photos to my films.I really really love this app! But... it's really frustrating when you work on a video and all of the sudden it says... "Looks like something went wrong" and all that work is gone! It happens all the time.

2. Noooooooooo!Oh no! What happened?! This app was great, but now it doesn't work? I select the Plus sign to begin a new video project, select a photo to start the process, and the screen blanks for a second and reverts back to the Quik home screen.

3. It allows you to use your own music and has a nice collection of its own and you can add many photos (the most i ever added was 100) and there is a very nice selection of premade transitions that adds a special touch to the video.

4. Offering themes, text, stickers, music import, layouts, and even animated transitions with the ability to add video clips and photos seamlessly into your cut.

5. Just crashes.]So I can do many things on here that are absolutely wonderful, my favorite part is how it will automatically detect beats in your music and stuff, but lately on my android device, Samsung s9, it hasn't been able to let me import photos which is what I like to use the most.

6. Very irritating how it restarts playing every single time you make a change, as if you're done and want to review it? It's probably convenient if you need to plaster your daily life all over social media but if your looking for a convenient editor I'm not certain this is it.I can't believe this is a free app without ads.

7. Hats off developers, you've blown my mind.Honestly, I've came across a lot of simple video making apps and a lot of them didn't even have basic functions or was just simply unreliable to use.

8. Adding a video to project, it shows over the loop button, not in the time line.

9. I've recorded a handful of videos via my Samsung phone for fun (hunting, fishing, etc) and work (training videos, PR, and public education).

10. From the bottom of my heart, this is a great app to use if you want to make a very nice and simple video.

1. Fix Quik Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Quik: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Quik App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Quik" » Open Quik – Free Video Editor for photos, clips, music » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Quik » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Quik – Free Video Editor for photos, clips, music app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Quik servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Quik – Free Video Editor for photos, clips, music" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Quik app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Quik might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Quik. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Quik then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Quik not working

2. Fix Quik Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Quik be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Quik not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Quik may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
