1. So connect to router before installing the app.It will not stay connected to my phone, when it is connected it works just fine., but it needs to be reloaded consistently after a few minutes of non use., Arcam products are amazing but there interface, besides there direct remote control is horrible..atp atleast, update and fix please."socket closed by remote peer" That is it.

Was hoping the app would make it possible to fully operate the device from the other side of the living room, a distance at which the front panel display is too small to read.Initial impression was terrible, wouldn't connect to SA20 amp and after reading other reviews about non connection I was about to give up.

3. Deleted and reinstalled etc but not made a difference.So close but not quite there, basic control of a CDS27 works, but the app doesn't give any feedback of what is on the device display so to navigate the device menus you still need to be able to see the display on the front of the unit.

4. Tried everything but no joy.Can't fully connect to my Arcam cds27, Samsung tablet sees the cds27 player (sees everything the player is doing, track, time remaining, etc.), but function controls do not work .

5. This is a basic and simple app which allows you to adjust the volume with a dial, set subwoofer trim, view the incoming and outgoing signal, turn on and off room eq as well as analogue direct for 2 channel inputs which removes the sub but if you want the sun switch it off.

6. Everything else works: Dirac Configuration via built in Web-server [[as part of this: rudimental dynamic/on/off controls, update via network, started from Web-interface]] (((And yes: all IT devices @home are patched, upnp is enabled for my Avr10.

7. I initially installed the app and then connected the amp to the router and thats where the issue lay, so I removed the app and then re -installed it and it found the unit instantly, It now works as it should, basic but functional.

8. (That's normal.). If I then wake my phone and try to change the volume, then the app cannot find my amp.

9. Update 09SEP20 Since the last update, the app doesn't even find my phone.

10. Bt-works, o.t.: 2 NAS, Xbox, 4 comps, 2 mobiles, HP-Ptr- consider me not being the problem, thx.)))One of the better control apps.

11. If the connection is ever lost it's easily reestablished.Fine when it works.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Arcam Control Issues

1. Fix Arcam Control Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Arcam Control: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Arcam Control App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Arcam Control" » Open Arcam Control » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Arcam Control » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Arcam Control app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Arcam Control servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Arcam Control" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Arcam Control app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Arcam Control might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Arcam Control. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Arcam Control then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Arcam Control not working


2. Fix Arcam Control Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Arcam Control be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Arcam Control not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Arcam Control may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
