Handbid Customer Insights

1. There should be a link to the alerts in the message or in the title.Useless. App crashes every time I attempt to enter credit card info, and does not recognize credit cards entered via the browser.

2. Android 11 has been available for some time now, and the beta has been available for months to develop against on the emulator, even if they don't own a Pixel device.Like that you can find an auction that you may have never heard about otherwise.

3. I understand the concept of extended bidding but app should not allow auction end time to change unless it is as extended bidding.

4. I had two different paddles and could not combine the activity... which is problematic at an auction."You must provide a valid login link" Every auction I do with this application it is always something.

5. Problem arises in the alerts which fail to link to the auction they're about.

6. I hope this can get resolved but as of now I'm super irritated I may have lost my custom license plate I won.I also can't run on my Pixel 4 XL running Android 11.

7. Like the concept but a lot of work needs to be done to get this app up to speed.Easy. Could not sync the mobile app and desktop app.

8. This time I am stuck at a flickering screen that says the above sentence.Terrible design.

10. Tech support is also useless, and who ever heard of registering separately for support? Ridiculous.The app is cool when it works.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Handbid Issues

1. Fix Handbid Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Handbid: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Handbid App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Handbid" » Open Handbid » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Handbid » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Handbid app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Handbid servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Handbid" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Handbid app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Handbid might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Handbid. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Handbid then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Handbid not working


2. Fix Handbid Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Handbid be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Handbid not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Handbid may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
