1. I hate the locking feature, as it only locks when the video is not full screen and can't be unlocked without turning my screen off and back on.Buggy and limited options for parents, even if paying for youtube premium.

2. Please add the option to be able to restart the video to the beginning without having to press the back button 100 times.

3. The select highlight on the tv is white on pale blue, it is not easy to see.Unable to enter my birth year on lock screen.

4. The video controls are lacking; rewind is a 10 second rewind, there is no option to start from the beginning.

5. Can't turn off "Cast to device" so constant issues with accidentally casting to televisions including ones NOT in our home, like all the way over at the neighbor's.

6. No wifi issues.Blocking videos is pointless as they're replaced by the exact same thing with a different language or different uploader.

7. This is a terrible user interface, there is no clue that there is something off screen in portrait mode which is the way 90% of people will use it on their phone.

8. I signed into her account from my phone (to see if it was just the device's issue), but now I can't cast from my phone either! So frustrating.

9. And saving videos for offline is actually selected randomly by youtube's algorithm...you cant choose which videos to save yourself.

10. For phone, it is simple to slide the bar back to the beginning, but I'd like to see a restart or start from beginning button for TV app.

1. Fix YouTube Kids Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart YouTube Kids: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the YouTube Kids App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "YouTube Kids" » Open YouTube Kids » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for YouTube Kids » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear YouTube Kids app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from YouTube Kids servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "YouTube Kids" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check YouTube Kids app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, YouTube Kids might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall YouTube Kids. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall YouTube Kids then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing YouTube Kids not working

2. Fix YouTube Kids Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make YouTube Kids be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to YouTube Kids not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, YouTube Kids may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
