1. But over all i like ifThe instructions for my smart plug says to download this app and in the app we have to go to the third party controls to connect with Amazon Echo, but there seems to be no such option in this app.Been waiting so far 6 months for motion detection to get fixed.

2. So far so good! We have 2 of them and they both connected easily!! I read somewhere you could use voice commands to turn things on and off with plugs but I have not figured out how to get it ro connect to either Google home or Alexa but if I could that would be awesome!I was really pleased with my Smart Camera at first, so I bought 3 more.

3. If this issue were fixed- I would give 5 stars if the app would notify like it's supposed to.I thought it was pretty cool easy to connect now its going offine than connects to wifi.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Ghome Issues

1. Fix Ghome Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Ghome: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Ghome App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Ghome" » Open Ghome » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Ghome » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Ghome app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Ghome servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Ghome" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Ghome app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Ghome might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Ghome. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Ghome then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Ghome not working


2. Fix Ghome Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Ghome be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Ghome not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Ghome may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
