About Smart Gateway App

1. Thanks to Smart Gateway APP the management of the home automation system is simple and intuitive, with the ability to remotely control lighting, blinds and shutters, scenarios, temperature and humidity in every room, anti-intrusion system and video cameras.

2. In order to work, the APP requires the presence of a Gewiss Smart Gateway connected to the home automation system and the payment of an annual fee.

3. The new Gewiss APP also allows you to check the energy consumption of your home at any time, as well as setting timers, logic functions, load control and irrigation.

4. The APP configuration is made using the online GEWISS IoT Configurator software, which can be accessed visiting in the "Services/Software/Smart Gateway APP" section.

1. Have you done that only to take passwords? It would make sense as I couldn't connect at all.it keeps telling me to match up my password and it is the same.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Smart Gateway App Issues

1. Fix Smart Gateway App Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart Smart Gateway App: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the Smart Gateway App App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Smart Gateway App" » Open Smart Gateway App » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Smart Gateway App » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear Smart Gateway App app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Smart Gateway App servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Smart Gateway App" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check Smart Gateway App app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Smart Gateway App might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall Smart Gateway App. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Smart Gateway App then reinstall.
