1. Sometimes it doesn't pair at all and i have to disconnect it from the vehicle and go to paper logs no matter how much I press the button and put it in pairing mode.If you're looking for an app thats super glitchy and laggy, makes you swich thru like 5 or 6 diff screens just to start your log and show an inspection, disconnects constantly, makes you log in like 15 times a day literally every time you step out of the truck with your ph then youre in the right place.

2. Now it doesn't work at all.For something that is for professional driver to keeps us from getting tickets or shut down this garmin system need a lot of work sometimes it works fine but other times I'll get the red ring while I'm driving.

3. add in the fact the app freezes and is slow is very frustrating, having to wait 2 or 3 minutes every time you have to update your duty status.

4. It is not nesesary to show each time when the engine start/off.Software issues are fixed! It's working as good now as It did when I 1st got it.

5. Thanks for your help.Sometimes when I start the engine, the ELD puts me in driving status, even when I'm not moving.

6. I am the primary driver but we have 2 others that use the truck and adapter and when they are using it I can't send my logs to email to back them up.

8. was trying to see what my recap for tomorrow would be, switch screens, re log in, took for ever to bring the data up.My device says paired but the app says not connected... Keeps happening over and over again.

9. Design flaws: 1 The lock ring for the diagnostic port has no resistance when in lock position, so it vibrates loose and falls out while driving.

10. Also when you stop it takes several seconds before the app recongnizes you stopped to input a change of status.Bluetooth won't connect to my tablet anymore.

1. Fix Garmin eLog Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Garmin eLog: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Garmin eLog App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Garmin eLog" » Open Garmin eLog™ Compliant ELD » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Garmin eLog » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Garmin eLog™ Compliant ELD app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Garmin eLog servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Garmin eLog™ Compliant ELD" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Garmin eLog app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Garmin eLog might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Garmin eLog. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Garmin eLog then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Garmin eLog not working

2. Fix Garmin eLog Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Garmin eLog be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Garmin eLog not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Garmin eLog may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
