1. I did get the cancelation but the retention program needs an overhaul.I honestly normally don't leave reviews but the experience and service that I got from CarShield was absolutely horrible they made me send pictures VIN number bill of sale send out an inspector to go look at the car in the shop, mileage, and everything takes 24 to 48 hours and after all of that they decided that it was a pre-existing condition even though I had the policy before the issue on the car and it can be proven that the leak happened after the policy was purchasedCarshield is perpetrating a fraud! Two days after I paid the monthly fee, I had an accident.
2. Carshield is slow to update the discount of $20 a month to my platinum policy they counter offered when i called before its renewal; to temporarily drop coverage 3months freeing up some $ during my home repair pinch.
3. I called carshield while there & did everything I was told step by step including how to rent a rental car with my rental reimbursement.
4. So long as they advertise on SNY, I will never use this service and implore everyone I know not to use it.I pay over $100 for coverage a month & I have been a loyal customer for 5 months.
5. The customer service is great on the phone but the adjuststers who do the footwork and go look at your car and do the paperwork are nothing short of terrible.The people are rude as heck.
6. I went in for a simple problem which Carshield approved, but when the mechanic did a test drive and found it wasnt a complete fix.

9. The CSA read the recording of the last conversation and told me I wanted to keep the policy.
10. After I stopped paying immediately flooded with phone calls and emails, only to try and sell me "a better package".3 star for now as I just purchased coverage yesterday and cant say yay or neigh about services & follow through.
11. Nothing! The next day, I called Carshield to request a refund.
