VirusTotal Customer Insights

1. It does not want to rescan, the only way I can get it to scan is by deleting the cache and the data for the program, It has a problem with uploading unknown programs.Best detection I've ever seen! I've used countless antivirus apps over the years and this is WAY more useful! Ended up uninstalling a flagged app after my first scan! There's no more hogging up background resources, no more "pro" pings and no more forcing ads on you! 😎 Also, please read the description people! "Please note that virustotal for Android does not provide real-time protection and, so, is no substitute for any antivirus product, just a second opinion regarding your apps."Would be great if it worked.

2. The only problem I have with it is that the file scan feature doesn't work at all, I'd like to be able to scan downloaded apk files before I install them to my device but the feature doesn't work so I can't scan the file before downloading, that kinda socks tbh.Very simple, to the point, no fancy bells or whistles to distract you.

3. It's a awesone start, needs to have a few features added especially the ones that are implied but not actually implemented yet; like the ability to go straight to the report URL in a your default browser when you tap on the notification saying that a file you submitted has finished being scanned , instead of just taking you back to the app page.

4. There must be an upload queue but it's hidden to the user, so you don't know if an app has already been uploaded, andGod knows when (or if, as many apps remain unchecked even weeks later) a result will be received.it does not work well on cheap tv box's, I have a A95X max.

5. Not being able to scan files is a deal breaker.Virustotal is an impressive app that scans files and URLs using multiple antivirus engines to ensure their safety.

6. With analysis data from trusted sources to support its findings this is definently the second/third/fourth opinion you've been looking for!I love Virustotal, been using the website for years.

7. Overall, Virustotal is a powerful tool for securing your device, but there is still room for improvement.Very quick and thorough scan, provides results against the large malware database.

8. App needs a complete overhaulDoes what it says but the usability is poor (for example there seems to be no way to select multiple apps for upload instead of selecting individually).

9. From what I can tell you get one chance to view a report via a notification that pops up, if you click it and it falls, you're S.O.L. I recommend strictly using the website and avoiding the app all together.

10. It does not understand that I am using a Ethernet connection, keeps saying that I have no internet connection.

11. The real-time background scanning and data saver mode would be a useful addition as well.
