Why should I report an Issue with Fridgify: Food/Leftovers Track?

Other than that, great app!it's easy to navigate, easy to add food (scan the barcodes), and tells me wats in my fridge and wat recipes I can make... unlike a few other apps who don't have the barcode function and go into to much detail for me that I have to type in (like how much of an item is left, what the units are, what kind of cheese it is, and etc)Liking ther app so far.

I was contacted by the developer and Malcolm trouble shooted the problem with me, sent me an updated version with a fix for the bug and it's working great so far! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ------------------ I really want to use it! I got through the intro steps and began entering an item for the first time and the app keep crashing before I can finish.

3. My two suggestions would be that you can move just one thing over to the basket when you have multiple listed, and to be able to group the items for example fridge , freezer , bottom cupboard (maybe do it so people can enter their own).

4. Barcode scanner works consistently, especially if item is in the fridge (high contrast lighting) Unlike another app I tried, it doesn't have to reload every time I switch to a different app.

5. Is it possible to add a "household" option so you can share your db with people in the house? Could push a message from the app to get something on the way from work, or search recipes based on the db contents and send a request for dinner that night.

6. I took one star off because it would be great to be able to add another fridge/freezer so I can separate what's in the upstairs fridge versus the downstairs freezer.

7. The most important feature for me - searching for recipes based on the food I have works poorly as it suggests me recepies with 20 ingredients where I have like 3 of themGreat concept for saving food.

8. Also, prevent the potential issue of two or more people restocking the same item.The 1st 3 items I scanned were not found.

10. Worse, I can only have one of each item in my fridge, so two cans of something isn't a thing they thought of when designed this app.

1. Fix Fridgify Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Fridgify: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Fridgify App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Fridgify" » Open Fridgify: Food/Leftovers Track » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Fridgify » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Fridgify: Food/Leftovers Track app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Fridgify servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Fridgify: Food/Leftovers Track" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Fridgify app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Fridgify might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Fridgify. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Fridgify then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Fridgify not working

2. Fix Fridgify Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Fridgify be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Fridgify not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Fridgify may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
