EXCEED Customer Insights

1. Someone might grab my phone and tap the Exceed app and see how much money I have...Oooo, an added tap will stop them!!! This useless step wasn't easy to find at first to set up either... Can I downgrade to the previous version!?!!Recent update made the app worse.

2. Updating the app is fine, but let's go back to the way the old version worked where you didn't have to sign in just to see your balance.The new update is garbage.

It was perfectly fine and showed me all of my information and had the correct functions and I loved it, then they updated it recently to make it more sleek and stylish and now it doesn't show how much money is in my account and when I try to log in to see, it logs in with blank pages half strung together.

4. The last version was nice because you didn't have to sign in to see your balance.

5. If it isn't fixed soon, I will uninstall, since it's not working at all for me anymoreConstantly has problems saving login information, and the security aspects of the app have become very unreliable with the last couple updates.

6. This app is buggy and I'd be surprised if any kind of effort is made to make it any semblance of functional in the future.As of the may update, the app is trash.

7. Viewing your balance without signing in, has added a useless step.

8. Please fix this issue.Even with biometrics on, I have to use my password to log in every single time, in addition to having a verification email or text sent to me.

9. It has gotten so bad, I'm going to have to just start calling the number on the back of my card for a simple balance check.

10. Then it refuses to add my phone as a trusted device to avoid said verification, instead giving me an error screen.

11. Have had 0 fraud problems, and then this update comes in, and I get hit hard and regularly.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix EXCEED Issues

1. Fix EXCEED Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart EXCEED: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the EXCEED App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "EXCEED" » Open EXCEED by Money Network » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for EXCEED » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear EXCEED by Money Network app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from EXCEED servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "EXCEED by Money Network" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check EXCEED app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, EXCEED might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall EXCEED. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall EXCEED then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing EXCEED not working


2. Fix EXCEED Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make EXCEED be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to EXCEED not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, EXCEED may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Meta Bank/Money Network refuses to release my deposited money from savings to primary account. This has been on going 4 days now.
    My direct deposit is sitting in a "savings account" which the bank will not release to my primary. They keep stating that they do not have access to release funds from savings to primary. I have been attempting to log into the bank's website and mobile application, however the account is not recognizing my information due to a technical problem they are having on the bank's end. As I was told by a Supervisor, they have been having issues with their website and Mobile application for several weeks now and I am amongst several who have not been able to access their savings account to pull money to primary.

    Due to this issue I have not been able to pay my rent (I have gotten an eviction notice), my car payment has not been able to deduct from account, IRS and other payments have been delayed due to this issue as well.

    I have called several times and have spoken to several supervisors. Each supervisor has stated that there is no manager there to assist me to give approval to release the funds from saving to primary. Technical support has not responded with any updates. This issue is not getting resolved because no one has direct contact with technical support only by email. Direct managers are unavailable and sweeping this issue under the rug. My money is sitting in this bank and can not be touched because they are irresponsibly not able to move money or advance money to the primary account. My money is being held hostage by this bank and I cannot physically go into this bank because it is a merchant bank.
