1. As far as coupling the app with barometric smart phones, unless you can adjust the altimeter reading on the device as the pressure changes, it'll always be inaccurate.
2. That's why before every flight and during flight the pilot has to adjust his altimeter for changes in barometric pressure or the altimeter won't be accurate.
3. I tried to get altimeter readings in Wyoming and it wasn't workingTo me, the to App is not doing anything.. and not understanding house to work this because it don't even have a satellite view of a map live feedWorks as advertised.
4. It would reset to zero and then a second or two later go right back to the previous altimeter reading, leaving you without a way to track the difference in change.
5. This excessive desire for location drains the battery at an unacceptable level and additionally doesn't seem to pick up where it left off.
6. Only the addition of an option to adjust the time between pings would make me install this again. This altimeter assumes you are an altimeter savant.
7. To those complaining of differing elevations at each viewing, of course the elevation changes, especially since it gets data from satellites...as the satellites move, the preciseness changes.
8. The only thing that didn't seem to work correctly is the altimeter "reset" button.
9. And when you try to reset it, or calibrate it it when you tap on it it will drop to - 20 feet below sea level and anywhere in between until it gets up to 245 feet above sea level.
10. The elevation where I live in Florida is 85 feet above sea level, but this app will show anywhere between 170 feet and 245 feet.
11. Very unreliable, plus I keep getting a dropdown that tells me this app is using battery when I not even using it.The app takes too long to load.
