1. Bizarre that they decided not to simplify and let you swipe on and off directly with a credit/debit card.If you want to go green, and use your phone as a contactless ticket, avoid this app, It requires installing an additional fishy app, and still says your device is not supported (I have Google Pixel 7 Pro) which is weird.

2. Unfortunately, the app is very flaky and the smartcard function often fails, leaving you to go in search of a ticket machine.I couldn't have made it in Paris without this! You load up ticket(s) on your phone (multiple packages available) and then you just swipe your phone (the app doesn't even have to be open).

3. While you can directly pay as you go using your contactless credit card in other french cities, you are required to go through a very long process involving installing additional apps on your phone.

4. The app supposedly allows you to purchase tickets and ride contactlessly, but forces you to download a second, scammy looking app "ticket sans contact" in order to help Bonjour RATP work.

5. Routing is better than Google (which has some strange blind spots in Paris), and if you have a Samsung or certain other phone models, you can use the phone as a transit smart card.

6. Definitely recommend for all tourists visiting Paris.Using tickets on the phone is a nightmare user experience.

7. What is the point of a ticket app that needs another app to store and use tickets? Since the other app is incompatible with my Motorola running Android 12 (not exactly rare) , this app is completely useless.

1. Fix Bonjour RATP Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Bonjour RATP: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Bonjour RATP App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Bonjour RATP" » Open Bonjour RATP » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Bonjour RATP » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Bonjour RATP app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Bonjour RATP servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Bonjour RATP" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Bonjour RATP app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Bonjour RATP might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Bonjour RATP. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Bonjour RATP then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Bonjour RATP not working

2. Fix Bonjour RATP Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Bonjour RATP be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Bonjour RATP not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Bonjour RATP may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
