1. Itcseemscthatvif a payment to the account is made directly to the utility, it doesn't show on the app.Does what is suppose to and make it very easy to check my balance and add money if I need too.Everything is good with the app just can't put less than $25 it should be less just to keep the energy going till more money can be put on the account other than that it's okayEasy to watch usage and make paymentsThe app is handy to keep track of the usage of your utilities.

2. But I will just continue to pay over the phone or by other means because I don't need a payment oopsie again due to being in the dark.The app itself seems to be set up simply and is easy to use.

3. On first login with a new account you are not prompted to change the password from what the electric company has given you.

4. And I don't understand why I need to put my account number in and key token? to make a payment when it's already signed into my account.

5. I have gotten a new phone, and in the alert section it still has phone model info of my last phone and it will not allow me to change it.

7. Also at random times money would disappear and then reappear later down the road.It doesn't open when I need it too.

9. I'm concerned that with such weak password policies data could be easily stolen.Alert updates not allowed.

10. You have to login to the website instead to be prompted to change it or manually change it.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix MyUsage Issues

1. Fix MyUsage Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart MyUsage: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the MyUsage App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "MyUsage" » Open MyUsage Mobile » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for MyUsage » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear MyUsage Mobile app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from MyUsage servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "MyUsage Mobile" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check MyUsage app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, MyUsage might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall MyUsage. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall MyUsage then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing MyUsage not working


2. Fix MyUsage Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make MyUsage be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to MyUsage not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, MyUsage may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
