EdAssist Customer Insights

1. Well, if you get a picture from mobile and see it on the desktop, it would be blurry....now I am finding ways to upload PDF documents to edassist website...not happy at all...I thought I was the one going crazy trying to login in everytime.

2. Not going to waste any more time on this, it shouldn't be this difficult and such a waste of time.Complete garbage app, doesn't load, does nothing but freeze when you try to open it.Don't bother.

3. Very buggy and doesn't offer hardly anything when you do log in.Can't even log in! I've entered my credentials numerous times in different ways and it does not allow for login.

4. Wont upload photos of what I need to submit properly.i logged in and error msg came up so i hit retry and it just refreshed the error msg..tried several times to start over.

5. Images upload blurry when using the in-app camera feature and when uploading from the gallery.Won't show my applications and freezes if I try to create a new one.

6. I think there should be one place to do applications through bright web and not a whole app evem the website goes down to.It stinks that we need to use this application for the Degree program but each semester there is issues with logging in.

7. I also wish that my password worked for each of my different Bright Horizons login needs.This app is horrible.

8. i am able to login to my computer just fine, so i know it isnt a password issue.Poorly made.

9. I used this app to upload the school documents but edassist said that the documents are not clear.

10. You are limited to just either take pictures or upload pictures from the picture folder.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix EdAssist Issues

1. Fix EdAssist Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:


  1. Restart EdAssist: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the EdAssist App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "EdAssist" » Open EdAssist » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for EdAssist » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear EdAssist app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from EdAssist servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "EdAssist" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check EdAssist app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, EdAssist might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall EdAssist. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall EdAssist then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing EdAssist not working


2. Fix EdAssist Server issues & Internet Connection


  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make EdAssist be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to EdAssist not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, EdAssist may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
