1. Use this application to generate tone from 1 to 20000 Hz.
2. Also use subwoofer test to check your subwoofer.
1. Plus this tone generator stopped on my Samsung phone as soon as the screen went off! This tone generator should shut off as soon as I stop it physically not switch off by itself! TM SOFT Tone generator is superior to this!excellent tone generator, very useful for setting up sound system/stereo.
2. Opened it up and it forced me to accept sharing my device id for targeted ads but assured me that I could change it back in the settings menu...hmmmm... where's the settings menu... i don't trust it and deleted it.One of the WORST tone generators on here! Huge obtrusive ADS with ear blasting advertising audio that ruined my listening and testing experience.
3. I am in the process of building an electronic one controlled by a potentiometer.Very handy for testing speakers and headphones etc I've noticed my phones (sony XZ1) eq settings do not effect the sound, would be nice to have as an option.
4. Sine wave is pretty clean, square is messier and falls apart at high frequencies. The phone's volume control adjusts the amplitude, I get 0.8v peak to peak at max volume.
5. Some devices may vary I assume as a volume level output range control. It does exactly what it says, generate any range of audio tones.
6. Plug headphone on set any tone turn volume up until you hear it change to a distort sound then turn down until you get the right tone.
7. It insists on playing full screen full volume commercials and running demos of other programs.
8. For a free app though it's great, ads are unobtrusive π€πAll frequency test tones very Nice.
9. Unfortunately I cannot use it because I can't have QuickBooks advertisement starting to play in the middle of a meeting.Installed this a while ago, and used it to find a resonant buzz in my car door speakers.
10. Also handy to teach novices about sound and frequencies.Haven't used it in a while.
11. The promotions of other apps can intrusive but hey, Dmitsoft have to make a living!Tones appear to be accurate but I have no way to test them.
