1. After reading some reviews, it's obvious I'm not the only person complaining of this issue.After many years of trial and randomly selecting audio applications that are subpar, at best, I happened upon Equalizer FX in the Play Store about four years ago.

2. Chose 3 stars because while the equalizer works great (much better than say the equalizer in my google play app), it's constantly randomly turning the equalizer off, and you have to go back into the app and toggle it off and back on again to get it working properly again.

3. There should be no bass but vocals should loud--the middle band its the most powerful sound changer, ideal for poorly recorded podcasts.

4. It was the best sound booster & equalizer anywhere on Play Store.

5. I continue to turn to Equalizer FX for the Motorola phone I now use, and it helps tremendously.

6. Not only does it make no difference in the sound, but it pops up, not one, not two, but 3 ads before you can use it, each time you open it.

7. Throughout this time, I've had six or seven different phones, and this application has improved the sound quality of each of them.

1. Fix Equalizer FX Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Equalizer FX: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Equalizer FX App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Equalizer FX" » Open Equalizer FX: Sound Enhancer » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Equalizer FX » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Equalizer FX: Sound Enhancer app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Equalizer FX servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Equalizer FX: Sound Enhancer" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Equalizer FX app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Equalizer FX might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Equalizer FX. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Equalizer FX then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Equalizer FX not working

2. Fix Equalizer FX Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Equalizer FX be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Equalizer FX not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Equalizer FX may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
