Pingify Customer Insights
1. The last update for it was 2019? We're still waiting for some updates for newer Android 12 and Android 13 devices in 2023.Love Pingify!!!! I use it to check my internet and cell phone stability.
2. The pings still go with only longitude and latitude locations in an export.Pingifiy is still in the Google play store? You could at least update it.
3. On a Google pixel the app starts a test but stops the map tracking.
4. I was blaming everyone else, but my ISP before this tool.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix Pingify Issues
1. Fix Pingify Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart Pingify: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the Pingify App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Pingify" » Open Pingify » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Pingify » click "UPDATE".
- Clear Pingify app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Pingify servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Pingify" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check Pingify app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Pingify might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall Pingify. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Pingify then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Pingify not working
2. Fix Pingify Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Pingify be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Pingify not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Pingify may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
