1. Is there a way to find the saved article files to copy from my old device to the new one? Please let me know.I know CNN needs ads to generate revenue, but can't they load them in advance? Instead, everything is suddenly shifted down half the length of my screen after I've just started to read a headline or look at a picture.

2. Now I have to clock a back button, scroll down to the best article, past more ads (key point here) to the next article, click that article, read it, back click when I am done reading, then repeat.

This should be such a simple UI fix for their developers but they seem to not care that they are frustrating their users.Content is ok like other news outlets, maybe even slightly better than some other mainstream outlets limiting opinion journalism and trying to be a source of news, although it is both.

4. Been using the app daily for reading articles and listening to the audio for several years.

5. However, the new upgrade I was forced to install took away my favorite feature: being able to swipe left or right to move between articles within a topic heading.

6. End edit -- Clicking through to read an article means that you WILL have to start over at the top of the feed and then scroll down to where you last were.

7. I assume someone trotter to make it a clean, sleek look but I find it slower and harder to know if it's really your article or an ad which I don't want to click on.

8. It's less clear which stories are videos (I don't want to watch videos), and I am definitely seeing way more ads on the main page.

9. Unfortunately Samsung Smart Switch didnt move the files associated with CNN saved articles with the app.

10. The upgrade has made it very hard to read the subject of the articles.

11. Reboot the phone, restart app, audio icon reappears and works until the next app crash.

1. Fix CNN Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

3. Clear CNN: Breaking US & World News app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from CNN servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "CNN: Breaking US & World News" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check CNN app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, CNN might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall CNN. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall CNN then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing CNN not working

2. Fix CNN Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make CNN be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to CNN not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, CNN may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
