1. On my Nvidia Shield box, I'm getting intermittent app lockups - while watching skynews live, I press the back button to commence exiting, then press it a second time ("home" button highlighted)... but it then gets stuck - I can move left right through the menus, but cannot select anything, and can't exit - I have to do a force close to get out!Great for news but a recent update has mad e app extremely sensitive to any tiny horizontal movement.

2. (1) Some sections are horizontal scrolling which prevents seamless vertical scrolling (2) Some news items have a "Continue Reading" button, which doesn't work within the app - it just refreshes the page within the app.Good app, very very bad advertisements.

3. The worst thing about this app is that unlike every other news app on the planet, their developers don't seem to know how to add a zoom mode to their photos 🤣🤣🤔 I suggest another app if you want to study any news photos.

4. I want important news alerts, i.e. major breaking news, e.g. a terror attack, instead my phone keeps pinging with royal news.

5. Today's example being "women sleeps with python every night, then vet showed ultrasound...". For a professional news organisation/app this is just ridiculous.Excellent!!!! Immediate 24 hr.

6. They have so much choice and options for sports, but no filters whatsoever on the main Sky News app, seems a bit crazy.

7. You can't pick your notifications at all, but googling if you use the Sky Sports News app you can pick by sports category, e.g. football or tennis.

8. Thank you to the developers for keeping it free.12/06/23 Needs an opttion for a single column layout on the main menu screens so that stories are listed in a single column.

9. As such had enough, uninstalled 🫤App is not bad, the news it puts out is debatedly fairly bias but they try.

10. A brilliant app that you can even set to alert you when top news comes in, which you can read or watch in most cases.

1. Fix Sky News Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

1. Restart Sky News: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
2. Update the Sky News App. Here is how:
   1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "Sky News" » Open Sky News: Breaking, UK & World » click "Update".
   2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for Sky News » click "UPDATE".
3. Clear Sky News: Breaking, UK & World app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from Sky News servers.
   1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "Sky News: Breaking, UK & World" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
4. Check Sky News app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, Sky News might not work.
5. Uninstall and reinstall Sky News. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall Sky News then reinstall.
6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing Sky News not working

2. Fix Sky News Server issues & Internet Connection

1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make Sky News be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to Sky News not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, Sky News may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
