1. Nice app, but the full screen pop up ads after almost every article that I read are extremely annoying to the point where I'm debating uninstalling it anyway.
Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix STL Live Issues
1. Fix STL Live Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:
- Restart STL Live: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
- Update the STL Live App. Here is how:
- On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "STL Live" » Open STL Live - St. Louis News » click "Update".
- On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for STL Live » click "UPDATE".
- Clear STL Live - St. Louis News app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from STL Live servers.
- On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "STL Live - St. Louis News" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
- Check STL Live app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, STL Live might not work.
- Uninstall and reinstall STL Live. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall STL Live then reinstall.
- Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing STL Live not working
2. Fix STL Live Server issues & Internet Connection
- Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make STL Live be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
- Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to STL Live not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
- Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, STL Live may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.
