YouCut Customer Insights

1. I would pay for it, but they don't have it :(There's some weird new glitch where every time I go to save a video, any text I put on it gets super enlarged for no reason and I won't know until after the video is rendered, and then I have to go back and re-adjust the text, and then render it all over again and hope it doesn't enlarge the text again.

2. All together it was easy & fun!This app has been my go to editing for my channels for a year now, besides not being able to turn it into dark mode, I really love the app, it's very easy to use, sometimes there's a glitch here or there, like when I do some stuff to fast, it starts to lag, but if I leave the app and come back immediately, it stops.

3. The quality is good, it automatically makes the size fit a YouTube video, it's great! I have a small issue though, it was made for phones.

4. Along the way I added some fun text boxes which didn't take long to figure out how to add & edit the font and position on the video.

5. And I've tried emailing support multiple times for the things that lack but so far there have been no replies whatsoever.It's a great basic app.

6. I cannot believe how easy software like YouCut makes editing.

7. I was able to stitch 3 videos together very easily by just choosing the three video files and then the app did everything to put them together.

8. And the tools it comes with don't seem to be missing much of anything when it comes to simple editing and cutting videos.

9. The only other difference is it shows ads on the bottom and then shows you a 30 second-ish ad while your video is downloading to your device.

10. It has been great for a long time.Would give more, but... Not enough options for certain things.

11. Other than that, this app is perfect for editing!I've been using this app for nearly 2 years.

Steps to Troubleshoot & Fix YouCut Issues

1. Fix YouCut Not Working/Crashes/Errors/Unresponsive & Black/White screen:

  1. Restart YouCut: Restarting the app will resolve most errors.
  2. Update the YouCut App. Here is how:
    1. On Android goto PlayStore » Search for "YouCut" » Open YouCut - Video Editor & Maker » click "Update".
    2. On iPhone, goto AppStore » Your profile » Available Updates » Check for YouCut » click "UPDATE".
  3. Clear YouCut - Video Editor & Maker app cache: Clearing cached data will force your app to retrieve the latest data directly from YouCut servers.
    1. On Android, goto Settings » Apps » Select "YouCut - Video Editor & Maker" » click Storage » click "Clear Cache".
  4. Check YouCut app permissions. If any of these permissions required to use your device's features are disenabled, YouCut might not work.
  5. Uninstall and reinstall YouCut. If nothing else has worked, completely uninstall YouCut then reinstall.
  6. Restart your device. Last, restarting your device can often clear most problems causing YouCut not working

2. Fix YouCut Server issues & Internet Connection

  1. Check network connection: An unstable Internet will make YouCut be unable to connect to it's servers. Ensure your wi-fi is working then restart app.
  2. Disable VPN: VPN can cause connection errors and lead to YouCut not working. Make sure all VPNs are off
  3. Enable background data: When Background data is turned off, YouCut may not be able to connect to the Internet when running in the background.

  • Hello,
    I love youcut, it is the best video editin app i have used in 10 years.
    I have am havibg an issue with my current video. When i add clips some of them are being cropped automatically.
    I tested further by opening a second project and added same clips. It automatically cropped some clips but not the same clips as the previous project. So now i have two open projects, project one has 15 clips that are uncropped and my second project has the other 3 clips uncropped. If i add either set of clips to make 18 in a project they are automatically cropped and unable to uncrop. Can you help me merge the two projects with desired clips or can you help me add remaining clips without auto crop?
    One criticism in general would be the crop function just blurs out cropped area rather than trim off and remove. Based on my experience viewers will almost immediately stop watching. I have stopped using it altogether and focus more on magnifying video as it is recorded.

    I cancelled my youcut pro subscription one day ago and as per company policy I had cancelled it 24 hours ago, even more than that and still I got charged by incurred payment method. I was using my free trial and cancelled it earlier as I don't want this subscription anymore but still I got charged 420rs

    Please i request you to put a refund request as even after cancelling it charged the same from my account.
