1. A must-have for all machinists and machine shops. • Thread Size - Enter numeric, fractional or metric thread sizes and display tap, roll tap, close and free fit drill sizes. • Bolt Pattern Hole Layouts - enter start angle, number of bolts, diameter and optional x, y offset; calculate x and y coordinates. • Calculate for Milling, Turning, Drilling & much more.
2. The Machinist Calc Pro 2 machining calculator is ideal for machining pros and machine shop owners who want to increase productivity and profits in the design, layout and set-up stages of production and reduce wear and tear on costly cutting tools.
3. This machining calculator has more complete Thread data than the Machinery's Handbook, including step-saving Thread and Drill Size chart look-ups, speeds and feeds, right triangle solutions, bolt patterns and much more.
4. The Machinist Calc Pro 2 machining calculator now includes materials and tool settings combined with DOC and WOC to solve all your speed and feed calculations for face, end or slot milling plus turning, drilling and boring.
5. Spend more time machining and less time looking up specs and data in books, on charts or in computer programs.
6. And while perhaps obvious, if you change from an Android device to an iPhone or iPad, you WILL need to buy a new license as they are incompatible.
7. Machinist Calc® is a registered trademark of Calculated Industries, Inc.
1. However it badly needs Insert Coatings calculations.Bought this at IMTS 2016 in Chicago...,really good purchaseGreat tool; indispensable!Works Great!!!I would love to have a Bend Allowance calc for sheet metal of varying gauges/thicknesses.
2. (Unit Format: Metric setting only applies to display, not entry). The Calculations are great for Baseline Startimg points for Feeds, Speeds, Depth of Cut & Material.
3. Feeds and speeds gives you a good starting point to adjust from.Still figuring out the various features, but already liking the tapping drill size lookup.
4. As I work with metric system 99% of the time, defaulting to "mm" mode would be a great improvement in terms of reducing key taps.
5. E.g. I want "6" and "Thread Size" to mean metric M6 thread, not #6 imperial thread.
6. Need a tutorial, but got co-worker to walk me through.works just like the hardware calc, awesome!App is great.
7. One feature I would like to have is an ability to select metric by default.
8. Currently you have to press "6" "mm" "Thread Size" to set M6.
9. good.
10. Fantastic app.
11. Then this would be a completely complete app.
